GANGTOK

TSOMGO LAKE
Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake is one of the top holy places to visit in Sikkim. The lake is so clear and blue that one can see the reflection of snow-clad mountains surrounding in the water. It is home to a variety of fauna like Brahmini Ducks, Red Pandas, etc. During the spring season the entire place around the lake is covered with Rhododendrons. There is also a small temple of Lord Shiva on the lakeside.
NATHULA PASS
Located at an altitude of 4,310 meters, Nathula Pass is a historic mountain pass on the Indo-China border and a key part of the ancient Silk Route. It offers a rare opportunity to witness the Chinese Army (Red Army) from close proximity. The pass also houses the Indo-China Border Trade Market and a war memorial honoring Indian soldiers who served in the region. NATHANG VALLEY

BABA MANDIR
